Peter Rabbit Searching for help here: the label on the album says "From Gold to Ash", but no matter how many times I spin it, it keeps being solid gold.
Anyone knows what happened? Favorite track: Ruination Be Thy name.

Henrik Thøgersen Starting off with a uptempo instrumental banger reminiscent of early The Sword the album soon settles down into more gloomy doomy territory and stays there for the duration. Songs are memorable, executed with skill and feeling, and sprinkled with excellent clean vocals. Beautiful album! Favorite track: Keeping The Lighthouse.

Tyme More great metal from the Hoosier state. This is some quality doom from down Indy way. Artery clogging riffs and a dual vocal delivery that really smashes it out of the park. Hope it won't take four years to get the next one. Huck 'n Roll gives these guys props on AMG. Check out the review at www.angrymetalguy.com/apostle-of-solitude-from-gold-to-ash-review/. Favorite track: Keeping The Lighthouse.

Since 2004, Apostle of Solitude has honed their take on traditional doom metal. Following 2008's Sincerest Misery (Eyes Like Snow) and 2010's Last Sunrise (Profound Lore) the band teamed up with Cruz Del Sur Music (Italy) to release Of Woe and Wounds (2014) and From Gold to Ash (2018). ... more
